On October 29th 2018, China-Hungary Education Forum was held at North China University of Science and Technology. Participants include 11 guests from Hungary. Béres (director of Zoltán Kodály Secondary School of Pécs), Tamás Bereczkei (dean of Faculty of Humanities, University of Pécs), Györgyi Horváth (vice-dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Pécs), Géza Várady (vice-dean of Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Pécs ), and Prof. Mao Hong the Chinese director of TCM Confucius Institute at University of Pecs.
President Prof. Zhu Liguang and Vice Director of Education Bureau of Tangshan Mr. Li Xiaowei delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Deputy Party Secretary Prof. Zhu Yong and leaders and colleagues of International Cooperation Department, College of Information Engineering, College of Pharmacy, College of TCM, and College of Foreign Languages and so on attended the forum as well as the leaders of Tangshan No.1 Middle School, No.2 Middle School, No. 9 Middle School and Lubei Foreign Languages Experimental Primary School .
At the forum, Hungarian experts made presentations about higher education and secondary education of Hungary. Li Xiaowei, the Vice Director of Education Bureau of Tangshan introduced the primary and secondary education and international cooperation. After the opening ceremony, the participants attended seminars for primary schools, secondary schools, and universities. In particular the 3 deans from University of Pecs paid visit to three different corresponding faculties of NCUST and had deep discussions about the future cooperation.
